Lady Gaga, Baby Food Diet and Diet Magic

A fad diet, designed by Madonna’s personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, was also a hit with stars like Jennifer Aniston and Cheryl Cole – although experts warn that it is not healthy for adults.

From Lady Gaga, whose latest album, “Born This Way aims to shoot straight to number one, she talked about her diet goo.  Heinz Cream Porridge is increased by 100%, while the pasta and spaghetti bolognese are mashed up to 87%.

Are you a member of the Clean Plate Club?

You do not have to eat it all!

Mom told us not to leave the table until we finished our plate and of course we all heard the stories about starving children in other parts of the world. Our parents had good intentions, but they should have taught us to leave something on our plate or not to take as much food. We were trained to clean our plates. Little did they know that later in life it would potentially lead to obesity.

This habit has carried through out many of our adult lives. CLEAN YOUR PLATE. How many times have you told your own children the same thing. If you have enough to eat… you should stop. You do not need to eat everything you see… it can wait till later. Stop eating and put the excess in the refrigerator to eat tomorrow.

Clean Plate ClubAs you gradually break this habit, make it a practice to leave a couple of bites on the plate whether you are hungry or not,  just to get use to the visual site on leaving the table with food on your plate. If you find yourself looking for food, reduce the amount of food you are cooking.

It is better to have less  food available at the table. Don’t cook more than you should eat. When I go out to eat I divide the food that is served into two portions and take half home for lunch the next day. Never feel obligated to clean the plate.

For most people, it’s a habit to eat everything on their plate and this belief has been drummed since childhood. Now is a good time to reverse this thinking.

If possible, serve yourself healthy portions.  This encourages you to set limits to the amount of food you eat. Having additional food available at the table only encourages you to eat more. If there is less likely to feel the need to eat.

Weight Loss Reality – Your Beliefs!

I have always been taught “What you Believe You can Achieve” and this is so true when it comes to weight loss. So many of us are held back from losing weight because of our own faulty beliefs.

How many times do you say you’re done with lunch or dinner and find yourself talking another bite? You body says your full and your eyes say more.

Think of the times that you have taken a small piece of cake only to go back and have a second piece. I believe that when you are taking the smaller piece you already know that your are going to go back for the rest of it  and your just kidding yourself in that the process of cutting it in half is doing something good.

I have seen so many people say to themselves… just one more piece, only to watch them go back for several more pieces.

Be true to yourself, decide what you want and eat it.

If you are constantly allowing yourself to fail by succumbing to additional food; then you are training your belief system in a negative way and this begins to affect all aspects of your life.

Photo Food Diary’s – The Real Pictures

The amount of calories you eat each day will determine whether you gain or lose weight and it is one of the most important aspects of any weight loss program.

Studies conducted on overweight people and their beliefs about the amount of food they consume demonstrated that they thought the same amount of food as thinner individuals. They thought their weight gain was only do to a person’s metabolism. They also believed that overweight people all have slow metabolisms and that thin people have fast.
